Dopod Windows Mobile 6 upgrades sighted, dates included {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 10th 2007 2:02PM Bear in mind that the updates seem to be for Dopod-branded devices. HTC have a database of the IMEIs this will cover, and although your device may be manufactured by HTC, and then rebranded by a carrier, if it isn't a Dopod device, then it's only natural your registration will be rejected. Even though your 8525s are technically the same thing, they're Cingular/AT&T devices, not Dopod.

You'll need to wait for some nice person to post it somewhere more accessible (like me and my T-Mobile MDA Vario 2)...
