BlackBerry Storm, Storm 2 face off on video, result predictable {Engadget}

Sep 1st 2009 1:57PM I just want to point out, he said he had only been using his Storm2 for "like two hours", however he's posted a couple videos so far about the phone, so unless he shot the miracle sponge on the same day as this comparison, he's probably not a very trustworthy source to be making any concrete decisions on. That being said, if the Storm2 brings some real options to the table, I might upgrade, however I refuse to sign another contract on Telus.

Apple holding 'rock and roll' themed event, September 9th {Engadget}

Aug 31st 2009 2:42PM @Konshuss

It's from a Stones song, so if you find that condescending, you obviously don't know much about rock 'n' roll. Just saying.

Telus Touch Pro breaks cover again courtesy of Future Shop {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 13th 2008 10:19AM well.. Just going to put this out there, but a couple of weeks back I was at my local Telus store picking up my new BB Pearl, and they had one of these dummies on display and the lady ahead of me in line was actually playing around with one..

BlackBerry Storm bows, comes next month to Verizon and Vodafone {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 9th 2008 9:36PM actually, it does have an accelerometer..

T-Mobile G1 manual leaks out {Engadget}

Sep 25th 2008 11:05PM ok.. maybe this isnt the best article to ask this question in, but I'm asking it. Forgive me if it's been asked previously. If there is a touchscreen, why is there also a trackball? The only thing I can see is if they expect one to break down on you.. I mean, the track ball on my blackberry pearl no longer works for selecting, only scrolling, so luckily i can use the enter key. is that the theory behind this? Am I missing the idea completely? or does no one know.. it it just feels like a lot of this phone was thrown together in order to say, "it has this, the iPhone/Instinct/Prada/Storm/generic touchscreen phone, does not"

GSM-only BlackBerry Storm / Thunder leaks out {Engadget}

Sep 23rd 2008 10:44AM Pleeease RIM, I'll take a 9530 here in Canada.. I'll pass on Rogers and their non-existant 3G network. But if push comes to shove, does anyone know if theres anyway to unlock a CDMA phone for use on another carrier, because I'd be up for grabbing a state-side Storm and bringing it over to Telus.

4GB iPod nano 4Gs show up on Best Buy's Canadian site {Engadget}

Sep 21st 2008 1:00PM wow.. ok, this is not news. I live in New Brunswick, in a small community, and the only walmart for 30 minutes has these new nanos in... so why's it a surprise that they're showing up on a website? didn't apple announce at the Let's rock event they'd be in stores That weekend?... I dont know.. all I know is, my "local" walmart ran out of the old nano fatty's and has already nearly sold out on the new fourth generation ones. maybe you guys at engadget are behind the times?

New 80GB PS3 provides minimal power savings, might have 65nm RSX GPU {Engadget}

Aug 24th 2008 4:22PM You're a dick, I know a girl in my grade who has aspergers. As a matter of fact, she does fine in school. It is of course very obvious that she has a disability, but she is in normal grade 12 courses with no teacher assistant. You're just an asshole who takes advantage of the world.

iPhone 2.1 beta firmware hints at new iPod touch? {Engadget}

Jul 30th 2008 11:54AM A camera for a couple of reasons. The iPod touch is the ideal device for uploading pictures to facebook and if they ever put a video camera in it (which they wont) it'd be great for uploading youtube videos to. Apple has an opportunity here to really sperate this thing from the rest of the PMP's available today. Plus, why not make it completely compatible with ALL the apps in the itunes store.

PS. Anyone notice that the comments are broken? My cursor keeps skipping around..

iPhone 2.1 beta firmware hints at new iPod touch? {Engadget}

Jul 30th 2008 12:53AM battery life isn't really an issue.. turn it off when you're not in a hotspot, and take a laptop with you to charge it if you're going to be gone for a long time, or buy a car charger.. the only reason I want GPS is for some possible apps that can come out.

And wait.. maybe I'm wrong, I'm no expert, but wouldnt GPS be a dedicated chip, and not require wifi?
