With "My Circle" everyone is welcome at Alltel {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 21st 2006 5:17PM Poor Cingular is the only one that doesn't have a real person as a spokesperon. I'm happy with Catherine Zeta Jones as my spokesperson.
I thought the Alltel guy was B-list actor and environmentalist nut-job Ed Begley Jr.

Apr 20th 2006 11:11AM #3 - Thanks for a completely worthless post. Get out.
Blackberry's 8700g with EDGE available on T-Mobile {Engadget Mobile}
Apr 17th 2006 6:05PM Let's just hope they've worked up a better interface than the default on the 7100t. That was just plain awful. I ended up using the Vodafone theme, which looked great and was very well organized.

Apr 5th 2006 2:59PM #1: If you don't like BlackBerries, don't buy one. Why get so worked up about something that has no impact on your life?
This looks like the love child of a Sony Ericsson P900 and BlackBerry 7100. I like it.
Apple prepping an iPhone handset for Helio? {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 30th 2006 4:18PM It would be beyond stupid for Apple to go through the effort of creating a phone that only works on EV-DO. They'd be missing out on about 1.5 billion user GSM market in over 100 countries for the sake of a few million in one country. Historically Apple doesn't do stupid things, so I'm going to assume this rumor is false.

Mar 28th 2006 4:32PM #1 Thanks for a completely worthless comment that shamelessly generates traffic for an even more worthless website.
Cingular now selling Nokia 9300 {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 27th 2006 12:26PM #3: Thanks. I'm glad you agree. Most people just call it stupid. I like haveing unique stuff that makes people go :o when they see it. Buying UMTS/GSM phones from Japan seems to do the trick. I'm sorry to hear that you need 850. My rule would indeed be hard to live by if I didn't live somewhere with an abundance of 1900. You could get a Samsung D600. They make a quadband version of it. VK Mobile also makes a bunch of quadband stuff.
Cingular now selling Nokia 9300 {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 27th 2006 11:22AM I'm glad I didn't buy one of these back when I was considering it. It would now be in violation of my rule: no using phones that are sold in the US. What a shame. I'm glad I'll never have to worry about my V800 being sold here.
Nokia's NM850iG goes on sale tomorrow {Engadget Mobile}
Mar 16th 2006 7:15PM Huh? Nokia have been making phones for Vodafone JP for a while and they're UMTS
