Jun 16th 2009 8:52AM I am sick of hearing people complain about lack of wifi! I agree with Steve that it's nice to have choices, but if you have a blackberry, you have to have a data plan. I've never been in a location that doesn't get good 1XEV signal so I have no need for a battery-draining wifi radio. Granted, I live and work in the DC metro/270 corridor, but still.
Get off the "no wifi", "locked down", "bluetooth crippled" vzw-hate. Most of you don't know what you're talking about and probably aren't vzw customers anyway and want to piss your carrier's competition.
Christ.

Samsung's SP-A900, SP-D400 and SP-L300 projectors make the scene in Korea {Engadget}
Oct 16th 2008 2:42PM I hope it's been through better quality control than their SP-H710AE projectors. I went through two of them; there was an approximate 20% failure rate on these projectors in the field. They threw a beautiful picture (Joe Kane worked his magic), but the drama of ownership was too painful.

Jun 9th 2008 8:48AM Awww...when I read the "alien" part, I was hoping for a Harry Turtledove "Worldwar" game. Something that maybe wouldn't suck like R:FoM did.

IR2BT Infrared-to-Bluetooth converter now on sale, PS3 owners rejoice {Engadget}
Mar 28th 2008 4:54PM Again, everyone posting the http://schmartz.com/main.sc URL is completely missing the point that with the new 2.20 firmware update, that device no longer works as advertised. It was a kludgey power hack before and now it doesn't even do that.
I want one of these IR2BT's for my TSU9600.
