How would you change Windows Mobile 6.5? {Engadget}
Nov 7th 2009 3:47PM WM is still the most flexible and powerful OS. Android, the iPhone and the Palm Pre are way behind with the same problem:

Oddly, even the Snoozeberrys don't have this issue.
Apple Genius says 30 percent iPhone call drop rate is average in New York {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 1st 2009 11:06PM "I live in New England and work around the country. Bottom line, the iPhone - as a telecommunications device (ie, telephone) sucks!"
It's not doing all that well with email either:

Palm Pixi processor, chipset specs get detailed at last {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 14th 2009 8:18PM The article misses the most important point:
"Supports both CDMA2000® 1xEV-DO Rev. A and UMTS HSDPA 7.2Mbps/HSUPA 5.76Mbps, and GSM"
!!! Wake up guys!
Palm Pre comes to Bell on August 27 {Engadget}
Aug 4th 2009 3:40PM The Pre comes complete with a Certificate of Obsoleteness, dated Jan. 1st, 2010, when all Canadian phones over $50 will be HSPA compatible international phones. By then, the suckers who bought this will have another 30 months to go!!!
Editorial: Taking the iPhone 3GS off the job market {Engadget}
Jul 12th 2009 6:44PM About using an external keyboard:
"iPhone would likely need USB hosting capabilities for that. Not many smartphones have that ability unless they're are one of the few that still cater to their PDA roots."
All Berrys, WM and S60 can use an external keyboars. Most USB keyboards can be used with WM and the right third-party driver. Apple, on purpose (again!) crippled Bluetooth and USB. It is one of several reasons why I can't even think of using the iPhone. I don't want to have to carry a friggin 17-inch laptop all the time to get a bit of work done. Coverage is awful but this should be fixed with HSDPA/ LTE when current CDMA providers will be able to offer the iPhone. Multitasking is also a deal-breaker. Someday, the iPhone will be for everyone. Today ain't the day.

Jun 11th 2009 6:08PM For the same money go for the Panasonic TZ7, with a 12X stabilized zoom that produces excellent images. Samsung is always dead last when it comes to image quality.
Poll: iPhone 3GS or the Pre? {Engadget}
Jun 8th 2009 6:02PM As I expected, still no physical keyboard, no multi-tasking, the same lousy network and Bluetooth is still crippled (no HID). My money is on the Pre.
Palm Pre camera used, results shared at long last {Engadget Mobile}
May 28th 2009 11:21PM The file can produce an excellent 5x7 in. print and a pretty good 8x10. I won't retire my Canon 5D anytime soon but the Pre has a pretty good camera.
ASUS Eee Keyboard to launch by end of June {Engadget}
May 14th 2009 6:14PM Make one with a foldable keyboard and video out and I'm in.
