Motorola's 2008 lineup leaked in Amsterdam {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 10th 2007 11:06PM "Engadget Mobile" doesn't give the scenario. That's news from Mobile Phone Helpdesk.
=======================================================
Scoop leaked Motorola's
09-10-2007: Mobile Phone Helpdesk is honoured to present a quartet of new Motorola devices today. The American manufacturer leaked her newest devices during a presentation in Amsterdam today.
Door: Willeke de Haas
Motorola today showed her christmas line-up of devices in Amsterdam. Besides watching the new announced devices, Mototola also accidently leaked fouw new devices during her presentation in which they informed us with their strategy and vision for the future. Mobile Phone Helpdesk made photos of these devices when they were shown at the presentation, which is also the reason why the photo quality is not as good as you are used to with us. However, a good deal of the possibilities that the devices will offer are not blurry at all.
Motorola's strategy
Motorola today started dividing her devices into sections. They now clearly seperate the music phones, the camera phones, the entertainment phones and the enterprise phones from each other. Something that we already knew earlier is that the music phones are indicated with the name "ROKR" and that the multimedia phones belong to the "RAZR" section. However, Motorola today announced that their camera phones will be placed in the "Zoom" section and that their business devices will be placed in the "Multi Q" section. Four new devices leaked out today, under which two devices in the Zoom series, one device in the Multi Q series and one device in the ROKR series.
Motorola Skarven
The Motorola Skarven is made for the photo lover and therefore it will be placed in the Zoom series. With the announcement of Motorola to bring out an 8 megapixel camera with optical zoom next year we question ourselved whether this would be the concerning device. The Motorola Skarven, the codename that the device still has, will become a kick-slider, just as the Motorola RIZR Z8.
The Motorola Skarven will be placed in the highest section of the market and that is why the expectation is that this could be Motorola's famous multimedia monster. The size of the display is quite large with 2.8 inch and it may be clear that this will be a 16 million colours display.
Motorola X Pixl
The Motorola X Pixl, which again is a codename for the candybar, is the first device that the American manufacturer will launch in cooperation with Kodak. The X Pixl will become Motorola's first 5 megapixel phone and with this they will try to compete with other 5 megapixel bestsellers such as the Nokia N95, the Samsung G600 and the Sony Ericsson K850i.
The Motorola X Pixl will, when the device will be officially announced, probably come to the market with the name Motorola Z12. The candybar will be placed in the middle section of the market and it will focus on the same market as the already available 5 megapixel phones.
Motorola Texel
The Motorola Texel is really no reference to the Netherlands, but just a regular codename for this "morph phone". The Motorola TExel will be placed in the ROKR section which means that the phone will carry the "music phone" tag with him. A very special detail is that the Motorola Texel is equipped with the same Morph technology as the Motorola ROKR E8. With this, nine layers of numbers, letters and symbols are placed on top of each other and that is why the functions of the keys always change.
An advantage of the Motorola ROKR devices is that they all, at least the newer models, are equipped with a 3.5 millimeter headset jack. This makes sure that every wanted headset can be used with the Motorola Texel and that could be a very handy thing for many music lovers. The Motorola Texel will be announced round February or March 2008, until that time we will have to wait for this candybar.
Motorola Genghis
The Motorola Genghis will become the accessible device in the business market. The Motorola Genghis is not directly made for the businessman but more for those who appreciate the advantages of a business device without too much hustle and bustle. The Motorolsa Genghis will be placed in the entry level of the market with a nice price tag.
The Motorola Genghis will have a big advantage, which is a full QWERTY keyboard. Furthermore, this device has received a lot of thought in appearance and colour and this could mean that it would come to the market in different colours.
Motorola is clearly trying to find her way back to the mobile phone market. Especially the Motorola Skarven is a good promise for the future and this kick-slider will laybe even offer an 8 megepixel camera. However, Motorola has to hurry producing her new devices because they will be too late if they don't, just as is the case with the Motorola X Pixl that can forget about competing with 5 megapixel phones that are already available due to its late launch. Motorola still has a long way to go, but they have taken a large step forward today.

Two new Moto handsets outed: say hello to the RIZR Z10 and ROKR E8 {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 19th 2007 12:45PM @Sean Cooper
You so funny. In other word you said "... and the sad word -- rumor of course, ..." but other word you said "... The E8 should be landing Q1 of 2008, and the Z10 should be shipping Q4 this year for round about 400 (about $550)."
How come you said "rumour of course" but you know "The E8 should be landing Q1 of 2008". You information is wrong.

Motorola on the go: ROKR E8, RIZR Z10
17 Sep, 2007
Motorola is certainly trying to keep the pace in the mobile phone race. Two of the future releases of the company are becoming evermore the toast of town. It's now almost certain that MOTOROKR E8 and MOTORIZR Z10 are to emerge really soon. Detailed specification sheets and a whole bunch of photos are already on hand.
We've written about MOTOROKR E8 - the new music-centered proposal by Motorola. It has a unique touch-sensitive keypad and the so called "Omega wheel", which sounds like a truly great navigational solution. The keypad is quoted to support Haptic feedback, allowing the user to actually feel every keypress. The built-in memory is 2GB and is expandable through a microSD card slot, which supports memory cards of up to 4GB capacity. Among the other more exiting features are the very slim design (standing at 115 x 53 x 10.6 mm with a volume of less than 60cc), FM radio, Bluetooth, USB v2.0 and the 3.5mm audio jack. A two megapixel camera and the 2" 262K color QVGA display are adding to the tally. The bar-shaped device will be quad-band and GPRS and EDGE enabled. MOTOROKR E8 is expected to hit the shelves in November at a projected retail price of 280 Euro.
MOTORIZR Z10 is another smartphone with the kick-slider design Motorola introduced with the MOTORIZR Z8. It means the phone is equipped with a sliding mechanism that bends the phone for better ergonomics. MOTORIZR Z10 will have a 2.2" 16M color QVGA display with scratch-resistant glass and a 3.2 Megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. The camera is said to capture video in QVGA resolution at 30 fps. The device is particularly loaded in terms of network connectivity - it supports quad-band GPRS, EDGE and dual-band HSDPA. The OS here is Symbian UIQ 3.1, just like in Z8. MOTORIZR Z10 will most likely be available in December at an expected retail price of 400 Euro before taxes.

That's not rumour. My friend bought "Motorola Rokr E8 Engineering Version". "Motorola Rokr E8" is not the real name. We just know the exactly codename "ELBA".

MotoMania:
Good article. The only thing is the dimensions. With the units given, the phone would be the size of a Bic lighter.
Regardless, it is an impressive phone. The Boy genius has confirmed that a phone with these specs will be released, though the pic of the phone probably isn't real.
================================================================================
No worries about the dimensions. The dimensions around like "Motorola Rokr E6". Don't believe any confirm from "The Boy Genius Report" and "Engadget Mobile".
For example:
"The Boy Genius Report" and "Engadget Mobile" confirm photos of "Motorola Scapel". If you think clearly and logicly, Motorola doesn't want they "big secret" easly public know, Motorola keep that's big secret for nearly 4 years. In the GSMA around February 2007, Motorola show up "Motorola Scapel" just in the photo and just a little part of "Motorola Scapel". That's mean "Motorola Scapel Project" is really big secret project of Motorola. So how come "The Boy Genius Report" and "Engadget Mobile" can confirm that's "Motorola Scapel" but other famous website, television and other doesn't confirm? If "Motorola Scapel" already confirm; so like CNN, CNBC and other will confirm too.
Is this the Motorola MOTOROKR E7? {Engadget Mobile}
Sep 7th 2007 1:07PM Hahaha....My questions to "Chris Ziegler" or "engadget mobile":
Oh man, ones again "engadget mobile" give negative comment. How about
when battery Nokia get burn, why "engadget mobile" not give negative
comment and "engadget mobile" not give any comment. When "Motorola"
has news, "engadget mobile" give always negative comments. What do
you want "engadget mobile"?I read your comment to all "Motorola"
news. Likely you hate and mad with "Motorola". Why? Same questions to
"The Boy Genius Report". I don't believe any news about "Motorola" if
"Engadget Mobile" and "The Boy Genius Report" says because comments
they give is not neutral comments.
