Nintendo's new Zelda falls flat {Joystiq}

Nov 12th 2006 12:21AM Vladimir Cole's posts are click bait for Joystiq. He is anti-Nintendo everyone who has read this site knows it, he simply posts this stuff so that he can generate traffic for his posts because he knows Nintendo fans will come clicking in to complain and he knows an article like this will be cross posted on tons of sites and message boards.

Samsung teams with Eidicom for EW-700 WiFiFONE {Engadget}

Oct 23rd 2006 1:10PM I use a Nokia E series phone which covers all of these features as well as being a stable regular cellphone. I use VOIP when at home or at work and make cellular calls when I am driving or out of the office. Cost was $369 unlocked.

Hands on with Nokia's "multimedia computer" behemoths {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 12th 2006 12:41PM They have all these proto's at the NYC Nokia flagship, and I have handled them. The N75 is impressive for a flip, the N95 is amazing but a little chunky the dual slide is smooth and feels good in the hands. The N91 feels surprisingly solid and good in the hands I would use this as an iPod replacement. According to the rep I spoke to N95 will not be sold here, N75 will but he wouldn't say which carrier but being that Cingular is the only 3G game in town it's obvious.

Palm Treo 750v gets official {Engadget}

Sep 12th 2006 3:24PM Noone seems to have noticed what I see as the biggest thing about this phone, unless I am wrong its quad band 850/900/1800/1900 GSM and ALSO TRI-BAND UMTS 850/1900/2100 making it the FIRST true world roaming 3G phone, 3G roaming on every continent that offers UMTS.

Sep 6th 2006 2:02AM Chris, check out the Nokia E series for cutting edge business phones that perform better than most windows mobile phones.
Tech, you can now update most Nokia smartphones via an update tool on your PC and some with over the air updates.
Whilst moto and samsung etc were perfecting fashion phones nokia has been fine tuning their series 60 smartphone OS and the multimedia capabilities of their handsets. Check out their newer models before talking trash.

Wii won't be more than $250 says Nintendo {Joystiq}

May 25th 2006 1:14PM The comments on this board are laughable,

"Who wants a PS3 or 360 when you can pick up virtual puppy poop with your wiimote in glorious non-HD resolution?"

I own a 360 and will own a PS3 probably at launch, I am excited to try out a new way of playing games with the wii, why do so many people hate me for that and call me a fanboy. Just because I choose to not be so critical and give a new toy the benefit of the doubt means I am "teh kiddy"?
I change my cellphone 3 times a year, I have had an HDTV for two years and am upgrading probably on black friday this year to 1080P, I have a tablet pc and a Mac Mini. I am the definition of bleeding edge tech freak and I STILL want to buy a Wii for $250!

All you morons complaining about the price get a life and trade in your $300 iPods cos I know most of you have one or two of those laying about. Those of you who say don't buy a wii because Nintendo games suck, I am actually ok with y'all, Nintendo is not looking for your business, I am pretty sure they are looking for your girlfriends and your mom's and my entertainment dollars.

Wii won't be more than $250 says Nintendo {Joystiq}

May 25th 2006 11:41AM So all I see here is a bunch of hot air from people with way too much time on their hands complaining about a price point they know nothing about. Nintendo will sell more than Gamecube because of Japan ALONE! They have their home country back in the fold because of the games they will offer such as Dragon Quest Swords and Final Fantasy CC2, any sales they get from NA and Europe will just be icing on the profit reports.
With the Wii you are getting much more than a Gamecube and everyone here knows it so don't be ridiculous.
Gamecube $99
Enhanced CPU +GPU = $20
512 MB Flash = $20
Wifi = $20
Bluetooth Chip and licensing = $20
Free Online Gaming
NEW CONTROLLER + R and D on the controller = $????

XBOX core = $299
Wifi adaptor = $69.99
Live Gold =$50
Wireless Controller = $50
I don't think it supports Bluetooth out of the box so no functionality there.

Come on look at the price and tell me $200 - $250 for a Wii is not reasonable, puhlease!!

HDTV shortage may force Euro viewers into pubs {Engadget}

Mar 21st 2006 1:47PM I just returned from a quick trip to London and I must say the SD digital Pal output to HD panels is much better than SD NTSC output here in the states. As a previous poster mentioned the jump is simply just not as great as you get here so apart from the 'cool' factor of having a flat panel there is little too push the charge into HD
