Mar 9th 2008 9:34PM I really don't think this comment was racist historically speaking. Typically a lynching party was a mob attack of innocent black men. Bill was defending Mrs Obama. He was one of the only ones in media standing up for her. Most of his callers thought she was guilty of un-American behavior (lol) but he repeatedly said she simply misspoke.
To those who say she is right for not being proud of their country I question your Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson way of thinking of running for a National Office. As the holder of a BS in Political Science you have to portray yourself as a typical American in order to win an election. It is impossible for someone on the far left or right to win a National election. They have to represent everyone not just a select group.
