Jun 14th 2007 2:25PM no from the pictures ive spied on other iphone news sites, it appears to be on the right side of the device, if looking at the screen at the correct orientation...
the left side is supposedly the hold butten thing, and in between them is the rumored non existent sim card tray... :D
