I've found many new options hidden in holding down a link, such as opening a link in a new tab in Safari.

Oct 15th 2008 1:31PM Is it possible that you just think your iPhone mic is working because you hear through the headphones, and are actually speaking through the computer mic?
You can check input levels via System Prefs and my iPhone headphones don't register via the input or output plug.

Jul 10th 2008 8:51AM They may have been referring to how AIM and such works on other phones. I know with my old phone, if I use AIM, it goes back and forth via text message.
There's no reason to assume it's the same on the iPhone. You know that half the time the AT&T (and even Apple store) reps are not as knowledgeable as us fanboys who spend all day on Engadget.
