AMD unveils "world's most advanced x86 CPU" -- the quad-core Opteron {Engadget}
Sep 10th 2007 11:03AM Im saying this on the basis that we give ones self a set of options to make a decision, the same as a cat. So to make AI you need to give a set of options for every move they make and calculate the most logical one in the same time a cat does.
The diffrint between a cat and human is we can give ourselfs unlimited options and can instantly find the best option with out considering the 'stupid' options.
The main limit as the moment isint power but timing, hard drives take time to find data, our brains can almost instantly retrive any memory with no index.
sorry for the grammer/spelling english is not my first launguage

The 'iPhone nano' patent surfaces {Engadget Mobile}
Jul 6th 2007 10:41AM This is complete rubbish, the rotary dail thing has been done before, nokia did it a couple of years back, i had the phone and it was just a pain in the arse.
C'mon an iphone nano whould never look like this.
I was expecting something looking much more like a conventional phone...
Like being slightly smaller then the origanl and having a keypad instad of the large multi-touch screen, but the overall design like the silver freame and black plastice coved in glass.
anybody feeling my rift?

Jul 4th 2007 10:42AM Too true, you engedget 'writers' (as you call them) have made this mistake many times!
People do not become writers because they can write, they do so because they are intelligent people!
United Kingdom = Northern Ireland and Great Britain! (if you people don't understand READ IT AGAIN)
Great Britain = England, Scotland and Wales.
END OF!
