Samsung Moment for Sprint first hands-on! {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 7th 2009 5:57PM Hmm, seems like this handset's not getting much attention or buzz. I really like the processor because its the first Android unit to have decent hardware. The stock Droid may not be quite good enough yet, but the form factor seems nice.

Sep 23rd 2009 6:33PM Did you ever think that maybe the WSJ knows more than some silly little blog? Maybe Take-Two owns multiple full Internet Protocols that we just don't know about.

Nokia X6 confirmed to sport a capacitive display, we can finally exhale {Engadget}
Sep 2nd 2009 2:12PM @sisyphus - I agree that most handwriting recognition sucks for English, but the major market for that is the Asian countries, and it's proven to work really well.
I think the real differences get overblown: most of the tech press goes super gay for capacitive because of the iPhone, but things like the Touch diamond or Touch HD are pretty darn responsive too. Each has it's plusses and minuses, and to definitely say one if better than the other is just silly. Different strokes for different folks.

Jul 30th 2009 4:35PM Supposedly, due to royalties and stuff, Apple doesn't really make much money off the actual sales. It's somewhat of a loss-leader in order to sell more iPods, iPhones, etc.
David Pogue launches all-out war on canned voicemail messages {Engadget}
Jul 30th 2009 3:36PM Oh, I was just tossing out fancy numbers - and it's likely lower per line because that's AT&T as a whole, not just the wireless side. That only strengthens my point of voting with your wallet because they'll feel it if enough subscribers switch and give a reason for it.

Jul 30th 2009 1:30PM You know what, I've said it before, and I'll say it again: you have to vote with your wallet. Your Internet protests don't mean a god damned thing to these companies, AT&T made freaking $3.2 billion in profits last quarter! If the price of texts on the bigs piss you off, go to Boost Mobile. Their $50 plan is unlimited text, calls, mobile web, etc. Metro and Leap do similar stuff. Sure, you won't be able to use the latest iFart app, but if your priorities are costs of services then make it known.
