"Major announcement" from HTC on June 5 {Engadget Mobile}
May 31st 2007 12:10PM I agree with the mini-usb comment - perfectly standard connector. and iphone non-3g - well yep it's not. but to call Windows Mobile an open OS...? c'mon, are you serious?
i have to ask, am i the only one who sees some wisdom in initially locking down the iphone to only the standard set of software...? Doesn't it make sense to wait until say 100,000 iphones are out there and all is well, that then the next step can be made with 3rd party apps?
...just curious, as it seems so logical to me, but seemingly nobody else... :)

May 31st 2007 12:00PM Hi Naz,
thanks for the info; my bad for getting that wrong, i was under the impression that the XDA's were made by HTC.

May 29th 2007 4:13AM oh please, HTC are so second rate - i should know as i bought the XDA Atom. Second rate from hardware quality (buzzing flickering screens, battery, etc), to their choice of software partners.
One thing in their defense, when not actually touching their devices but just looking at them from a distance - they do look pleasing. Shame things don't stay that way once you get hands-on with them.
