AT&T outlines $250 million network investment in Connecticut {Engadget HD}

Jul 5th 2008 9:41PM yep. at&t is very slow about expanding wireless coverage. the worst thing to happen to their wireless customers was going to at&t because now money has to be spent on rolling out tv services too. i very highly doubt any exec at at&t knows that it's 2008. after 20+ years in wireless, they still have coverage issues. does this make sense to anyone else??? 20 years for roll out of blanket wireless coverage.

How would you change LG's Vu? {Engadget}

May 30th 2008 9:17PM working with the vu daily i can tell you for sure that the touchscreen isn't as responsive as a certain other touchscreen device that's being sold. a few people made teh comment that it needs a different OS, um, well it's a phone, not a smartphone. it's basically every other LG but in touch. it does what every other phone does and you can watch tv. i haven't had a chance to use the tv version because our area isn't selling tv, but the vu is OK. not great, not suck ass. if you want something other than an iP**** the vu is a decent choice (if your ability of reason didn't kick in and you didn't first choose a blackberry). all in all it's a phone that lacks some buttons. didn't anyone tell you guys the bandwagon is here and it's time to jump on or cook the rest of us lunch????

Aliph's new Jawbone (the sequel) hands-on and unboxing {Engadget}

May 15th 2008 4:00PM i got to test it out. a few things. after charging i played with teh different tips and hooks. none worked well. i have the original jawbone and it stays on my ear perfectly. i use the tip that sits in the ear a little but the new jawbone doesn't include one. also the hook isn't designed as well. the volume is distorted compared with the previous model. the new one may work for some but not myself or my boss that tried it out too.

@timmurray2000 - you are correct. unlimited family message package cover any phone on the family plan. even though the iphone does not have mms, it can use unlimited text.
