O2 Germany boosts HSPA speeds to 7.2 Mbps

Seems like only yesterday we were sitting about the campfire, chit chatting about the wonders of O2's EDGE update. Now, just a couple years later, the baby's all grown up, and rocking speeds in the 7.2 / 2.0 down and up range for some rather fortunate parts of Germany. Apparently all Huawei-based sites in the south and most other sites are technically able to offer the giddy up, though, there's a far stretch between being able and actually seeing this in the real world, right Rogers? Happy times Germany, no go forth and max your bandwidth caps!

In Europe, when you pay for unlimited data, you get UNLIMITED data, we do not have any of that "fair-use" shit that you Americans have to put up with.

That may be the case in Germany, thats true. But not in whole Europe. When you buy "Unlimited Internet" at T-Mobile UK or Virgin Mobile UK, you get also 1 GB "fair use".
But it's still a great value though. 600 Minutes, "Unlimited" SMS (3000 Fair Use) and "Unlimited Internet" for just £20 a month. Try finding an offer like that in Germany, it's impossible i think :/
