BlackBerry lovers,
AT&T beckons. Looks like the just-reviewed
Onyx is heading to AT&T and, as rumored before, so is the
Magnum. We've got no pics of the latter device, but it's being touted here as the "BlackBerry Bold portfolio evolution" and uses the same processor as the Bold. It's also got a HVGA touchscreen, QWERTY pad, quad-band GSM / GRS / EDGE, GPS, and WiFi. Want more? How about an apparently non-flip
Pearl 3G with 3.6 Mbps of HSDPA goodness, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, trackball and SureType, and aGPS. Rounding out this quartet is the
Gemini, with a 512MHz processor, 256MB flash memory, 128MB RAM, Bluetooth, QVGA LCD, 2 megapixel sans flash, trackball, QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm headset jack, a microSD slot, possibly GPS, and sadly,
no 3G. There's no release date in sight, but hey, knowing they're on the way is half the battle, right?

I don't know why your upset....at least verizon has promised an update for the Storm by 2015. ;)

YES!!! Thank you AT&T for not letting this slip away.
Let's just hope they keep the iPhone exclusivity as well.

I am not sure that these are real or not... If you look at the Onyx review and the picture on the slide, they are completely different devices.

My biggest complaint about Blackberys and ATT is that they're still selling some Edge Blackberrys. WHy aren't they all 3G?
Armando Jimenez @ May 25th 2009 1:40PM
They aren't all 3g because some of them are low-end blackberry's that are for people who don't want to pay a lot for a blackberry and just want to own one. It's basically edge for the gemini because it's low-end all the other ones aren't so that's why those get 3g.
Bootleg Zani @ May 25th 2009 3:16PM
Wait so none of these are 3g outside of the Pearl. At least all Verizon Berries are 3g.
Brando @ May 25th 2009 4:00PM
Onyx is 3G

you must be joking saying that all of verizons blackberries are 3G. you could at least do SOME research before making comments like that.
