T-Mobile launches 'My Account' app for tracking minutes, sweating bills
Tired of logging into your T-Mobile account in order to check your G1 usage figures, existing bill status and plan information? Just too lazy to even do it? If you've somehow managed to remain on the carrier as a customer despite your lackadaisical approach to paying up on a monthly basis, you just might want to give the 'My Account' app a look. Freshly loosed on the Android Market, the app gives G1 users easy access to current activity, bill summary, plan information, online payment, help guides, forums, battery info, storage info, etc. Anyone sucked it down yet? Is it amazing?

It's a pretty decent app. You can get the same info by loggin on obviously. As of now it doesn't work over a WiFi connection.

Not only does it not work over wifi, but you can't even have wifi on...even if you aren't connected to a wifi network, it will still tell you that you cannot access the info over wifi.

I was thinking the exact same thing :)
I love my 2G (1st gen, whatever the kids are calling it these days...) on T-Mobile. The best part is the $5.99 a month data plan haha its great

Hmm, let me just check my available minutes: OK, I have infinity minutes, I used up 372, so I just have... what's infinity minus 372 again?
(OK, OK, I don't really have infinity minutes. This month I had 80640 minutes, next month it's a cool 89280... oh, it's nice to be a "loyal" T-Mobile customer :)

I got this 2 nights ago. I like it, pretty smooth. Makes it quicker to get to battery info along with memory usage.

I downloaded it a few days ago myself. It's pretty cool, I like how I can track my minutes used and whatnot with the easy flick and click of my thumb versus having to put in a code or going online to find out my usage.
Oh and I love how it says my bill is PAST DUE in nice red letters.

And here i thought AT&T would jump on the opportunity to do something like this for the iPhone and other smart phones. Once again T-Mobile shows how to do things right, I would love to see this set an example.

I love this app very much. I was quick to download it and it has easily been my most rewarding app purchased. I just wish I could change my billing plan on it. I hate going into T-Mobile outlets.

thats sooooo much easier than just clicking an icon!
/sarcasm
Even though I don't really need to worry about anything on there (unlimited everything I really use), its nifty and really useful. and the expanded information makes it even niftier! I like the quick reaching to memory especially!
