Nokia's 3606 flip phone slips onto Cricket Wireless
Nokia's simplistic 3606 has been out and about for awhile now, but it's brand new to Cricket Wireless airwaves. The aforesaid carrier is now offering up the 3606 in branded fashion, bringing along a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, music with external control keys, a microSD card slot, 700mAh battery and a 2-inch 220 x 176 internal display. The pain? $139.99 after all applicable discounts.[Via MobileBurn]

So far, after having this a few weeks, gotta' say this is a very good phone. The best, I would not go that far, especially since I don't have all day and night to compare phones - I have a life. I do know this phone performs well, has yet to drop a call, and is simple to use. Has advantages over other phones due to its ability to support some new cell phone technology (AWS frequencies if I recall correctly). I have no idea what that means, but if it means better listening/talking qualities, then I agree. Of all the phones at Cricket, I think this Nokia 3606 looks the best by far. I'm not into fashion or anything, definitely not into accessorizing phones, but I don't want to carry any ugly phone, either.
Another feature I like is the music player, and control buttons on the outside. Replaced my IPOD with this phone while jogging, so I have less to carry. Holds massive amounts of music, and I don't think I can fill the memory even with the hundreds upon hundreds of MP3s I have. Easy to use and sync.
