HTC S743 hands-on

HTC's S743 was launched a few days ago and we had a quick minute to catch up and get a few poses before being run down by other screaming HTC fans. This set, as previously mentioned, is the twin of HTC's S740 but eschews European frequencies for US-friendly 850 / 1900. Not much more to say, enjoy the pics.

Pics? Where?
And if it is supposed to be a "Hands On", how about some first-impressions feedback?

This better not have the horrible dpad that the diamond and touch pro have since it is the primary input.

What is it with people selling their souls to Google that easy?!? Android is a ripoff that is anything but open when you are being forced Google's stuff down your throat - to the point you can't even use the friggin phone unless you have a Google account. Thanks but no thanks! I don't have a Hotmail account and I don't use Windows Live for anything, yet I can make full use of Windows Mobile phones. I really hope HTC doesn't ruin this phone by putting Android on it.
Now, as for the S743 itself, doesn't it have a custom TouchFLO-without-touch interface? I have no idea how HTC would call it, but the S730 had it, and I think the S740 has one too, yet the S743 only has the stock sliding panels of WinMo 6.1.
