Didn't those indicators first appear on the moto w200 (or one of the early, low-end w series)? They aren't new. But yea, they look nice on a low-end flip.
And Sony Ericsson had them on the W380 years ago
*sorry I mean Z310. Engadget comment system really needs delete/edit functionality.
