Cheap to make, can be very large in size, low power requirements, flexible, and durable.

This means you can have it for low power TVs or as here cell phones. As many people know, the screen and backlight on any device consumes a big chunk of the batteries. Well with AMOLED, that power consumption is greatly reduced.
