And this is EXACTLY why Sprint is losing so many customers. Instead of going after the Samsung Omnia or Pixon, or the Touch HD, or any other full screen touch phone.....they release a PINK version of the Instinct which is outdated compared to every other touchscreen on the market.

Why not invest time in getting Android or something that will ACTUALLY make people wants to use and stay. The low monthly rates is the only thing keeping me otherwise I would've switched to a carrier that is going to get newer technology!

Have you even used an Instinct? Omnia is a WM6 phone with all the warts. Instinct just works and has enterprise email, contacts and calendar sync.

Besides, getting 6 out of 10 phones listed on forbes as 2008 phones to have and launching the Palm Pro is hardly a lack of good technology from Sprint.

^Why would any intelligent person try an Instinct? Comparing an Instinct (proprietary OS) to any other animal is disingenuous (at best). Good luck with support and upgrades, fool.

Aren't WinMo, BlackBerry, Apple proprietary? Google's still trying to gain traction, but my comments didn't reference that.

Also the released (Summer 08) Java Dev kit and continuing support by both Samsung AND Sprint for the Instinct don't count? Isn't Java non-proprietary?
