Pretty much anyone that wants 4.7.0.75 on their
Storm has it at this point, but for the remainder of the unwashed masses, the golden opportunity should come tomorrow. We're hearing that Verizon is officially releasing the tweaked firmware ahead of the weekend, which would make it the first Storm update to see the light of day in an official, Verizon-approved capacity since the phone's release a couple weeks back -- so if you're dealing with nasty bald spots where you've torn out hair from reboots, lags, or voice dialing weirdness, hang tight. In the meantime, though, you might want to just bite the bullet and shave your head, because those patches are seriously freaking us out.

Booya. Hopefully new ones will come with it pre-installed.

according to the posts over at HoFo, they are not shipping out with the new OS. Though I'd imagine those that are in queue for the Dec 15th shipments (latest) will possibly get the new OS pre-installed. YMMV.

In-store demos have .75 loaded though...

will you update your review when the software launches?

Verizon Associates have been saying that the update will be available December 8 (Monday). I have been told from both individuals at the store and at customer service 800 number.
My guess is they are just preparing the servers for Monday's release.
The only catch is maybe they are pushing it up a few days since Bell released an update, but I doubt it.

I stand corrected. 4.7.0.75 is now available on the Verizon site. Unfortunately, I already had .75 via the leak - I want .76!
