Cellular South hosts HTC Touch Diamond for $199.99
Last we heard from Cellular South, it was making waves by offering to pay early termination charges in order to hook new subscribers. Now, it's trying to lure even more paying customers in with the launch of the HTC Touch Diamond. The carrier, which serves much of Mississippi and portions of surrounding states, is now offering the touchscreen-based handset for $199.99 on a 2-year agreement, or if you're not really down with a data plan, it'll cost you a stiff $449.99. We're also told that a few new service plans have emerged, with family plans starting at $50 and packing in 700 to 1,400 nationwide minutes along with unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling with other CS users. Also of note, the Total Unlimited plan includes unlimited talk, text, mobile web and email for $80 / $100 per month for featurephones / smartphones.

Oh God! You're probably the same person that complained when they saw the red back...relax!

Those are all changable. I like the phone better than my maroon sprint one.

It's probably a version that HTC made for that company. I do know that the picture shown is NOT the original Touch Diamond back. Maybe it's like what they did with the Tilt made for AT&T. The same model untouched by AT&T has a second camera on the front. They had HTC make a model without it. Pretty stupid given the fact that windows mobile 6.1 now has video share calling. They probably would have more people using it if that camera was still on the front.

Actually a pretty decent cell to have.

DAMNIT MAN! Why is it that EVERY damn GSM provider in the US, Europe and Japan have some form of Touch handset, whether that is the Touch Pro, HD or Diamond....and T-Mobile wont give us ONE! SUCKS ASS IT DOES!! RANT I DO!

I am thinking the same thing.
I can't think of one North American or Major European provider without HTC Touch, or at least another current season HTC WinMo ( some of us need WM for work ) device except T-Mobile.
After 6 years as a loyal user, I'm planning to switch to AT&T because of this. The thing that's holding me back is ATT&T $60 3G tethering plan versus T-Mobile's 3G $30 tethering plan, but I'm still considering it.
Judging from some of the T-Mobile forums, many others are considering switching as well.

My Sprint Diamond will arrive in the mail tomorrow.....the pictures of this version make me not very excited about mine......this thing is f'ing ugly. I'm glad sprint made it 10x prettier than this.
