What's coming from Nokia this week?
A tradeshow to call its own, Nokia World kicks off this week in Barcelona -- and while it's expected to mostly be a way for developers to get out of their windowless offices for a couple minutes and connect with like-minded folks, a countdown timer has appeared on Nokia's European and Middle Eastern / African sites that suggests something bigger is afoot. New handsets, accessories, or initiatives? We're hoping for the first choice there -- because you know, Nokia, we haven't seen any Nseries devices running S60 5.0 yet. Hint, hint.

Not waiting much. Nokia world haven't really been about new devices and Nokia's receant countdowns have been about some campaigns and so on. Major devices that Eldar have been talking are probally 2009 thing.

I guess it just E75 launch, or another 'not so surprise' surprise.. =p

would be nice to see a sick Nseries version of the 5800 Tube, with an 8MP camera and a wider body. But that's being too hopeful. Maybe they'll announce the E75 with US 3G, and have it ready to ship wednesday. scratch that, I think there's a better shot at seeing the first thing I mentioned.

Nokia is announcing the N-series touchscreen device with UI created with Qt. Probably a device that put's the specs race back on.... Most likely no Maemo cell radio devices...although I would like one to happen

Unless they put 8 MP, 3.5" touchscreen AND gesture control in there ... it 's not worth a countdown. :-) (I've placed my bet on a Nokia 888 in my blog, but that's another story.)
