Nokia 5800 XpressMusic video review is probably longer than you think

We've seen a review of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, and several videos of the device in action. What we haven't seen, however, is a video review... until now. Over at MobileBurn they've posted a series of four review videos of the touchscreen handset, and though it starts out a bit shaky -- the stylus is "not very good" and the build doesn't feel very "solid" -- the reviewer changes his tune by the end of the opus, and his opinion seems like it's evolved to a resounding "not bad." Hit the read link, grab a bucket of popcorn and consider yourself in for the night if you want to watch the full review.

Did Mobile burn review a Final production model of the phone or was it still a beta?
I thought what little I've seen of it, it looked promising.

Mobileburn for some reason is BFFs with SE, every other brand seems to get lower ratings, that's why I read Engadget Mobile instead. I will await a CNET or Mobile-Review to get their hands on it.

Are you sure about that? I thought they had bashed the P1i and W960i to the point of no return.

Since when do nokias ever feel... solid?

You're right, out of the 7+ Nokia's that's I've owned over the past 9 years, none of them ever had that "solid" feel, but they sure did hold up to the punishment / wear and tear I put them through. I now have the E71 - it's the most solid device I have ever owned... :)

I'm an SE and BB fan but consider the E71 to be the most solid device that I've ever owned.

My personal observations: I had a chance to use E71 for a few days. It seems to be very solid and a good piece of work. Currently I have a N95 8GB and it's been great! It has dropped a few times, but no scratches, doesn't creak in any way...
