I thought we call it NT instead of TWD
Yup. It's NT. I have a whole bunch of it still from last trip visiting family. The currency code is TWD, mostly used in foreign currency exchange. and the common abbreviation is NT$.
Oh thats something new to me. although I lived there for 15 years
