i.TV app brings Netflix queue management to iPhone / iPod touch
Talk about being on a hot streak. Netflix has been the talk of the town here lately, hiring a new guy to concentrate on digital distribution, nixing HD DVD rentals for good and showing up on your iPod touch / iPhone. You heard right -- thanks to a new third-party application from i.TV, users can now manage their Netflix queue right from their handheld. In the app, users can see detailed content information, ratings, cast credits and recommendations, and you can even sign up for access or link to an existing account. Oh, and did we mention it's free to download? Because it is.

There is an app called PhoneFlix that also does that. I've had it on my iPod Touch for a few months now.

i.TV is sort of a Movie/TV swiss army knife. Movie listing, TV listings, IMDB, reminders, etc. And now Netflix. All fairly tightly integrated (e.g., just saw the end of a movie on TV and want to watch the whole thing, find it in the listings, click it, and add it to your Netflix queue). I'm sure TIVO scheduling will come soon. It is pretty cool. I'm worried that it is starting to feel quite bloated, though. Also, they're getting more heavy handed with ads (what's up with showing a moving poster every time you start). Still, for now it actually works quite well.

I'm using the iTV app and I love it, but you could always manage your queue using http://www.netflix.com/mobile :)

Did these guys pay you to mention advertise their app as being first or something?
Last time I checked there were 3 other apps specifically for managing your Netflix queue, 1 of which has been around since the 1.x jailbroken days. See: Dashbuster, iFlix, and PhoneFlix.
