I bet you think that buying a $30,000 car that leases for $150/mo is actually $29,850 cheaper than buying it in cash. $150 sounds about right for a car. and when the iPhone came out it was $899, so dont make it out like its just Sony, this has been going on for years, it is just that now the US is starting to sell unlocked phones at major retail locations and the public is shocked. Even in the past if you ever decided to buy any phone you purchased thru your carrier unlocked w/o a contract you are gonna more. Next time try and buy your next phone w/o a contract and see how much it cost. I dont care if its one of those cheap low-end so called "free" phone with a contract. Try and buy that "free" phone w/o a contract and I bet it would cost a minimal of $200.

Bottom line is if you can't afford it, don't complain and whine about Sony just cause you can't have it.
