Fuze rears its glossy head in some AT&T stores
Can't be long now, right? First we had dummies, but these are the real deal, ladies and gentlemen -- a little over five ounces of HSDPA, VGA, TouchFLO 3D, QWERTY, and likely a bunch more letters and numbers we're not recalling at the moment. Retail Fuzes are trickling into stores as we speak, though they're apparently going under lock and key; as far as we can tell, none will be sold until AT&T drops the green flag. In the meantime, Sprint, pimp that Touch Pro of yours as hard as you can, because we're afraid your exclusivity is about to end.

I've been calling all day, watching two different forums for announcements on who has them, and have two stores with my number that will call me if they get it.
ATT hates Las Vegas and me.

No luck in Phoenix!

Its November 10th at 3:55 pm, and I just walked out of the ATT store in Aliso Viejo, CA where I spent a half hour playing with the Fuze The Manager showed it off, and said they were for sale immediately, and how many would I like. He had quite a few of them, and there was a guy at the counter with the one he just bought, texting away like mad. The only problem was the $349 pricetag.....

I took the liberty of adjusting one out of inventory for testing purposes... It's awesome. I dare say it's probably the best alternate to the iPhone.

I second that, coming from a Touch Pro user.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS FUZE AND THE TOUCH PRO? ANYONE?
Nirvan Nagar @ Nov 11th 2008 7:10AM
Their is no diffrence, but the name. they named it the fuze for At&t's network, but all the hardware and software are the same as the touch pro, (well because it really is a touch pro).

Touch Pro = CDMA
FUZE = USDM 3G version of Touch pro.
And is your caps lock key stuck?
xytec @ Nov 10th 2008 7:21PM
so.... whats the back look like? i havent seen any pictures of the back. is it like the sprint htc phones or is it the orginal finger magnet backing?
Pulmcc @ Nov 12th 2008 10:41AM
Diamond glossy backing that attracts fingerprints, though not terrible.

Got mine tonight from an ATT Corprate. Very happy so far, im digging into it now and it is very fast and responsive. Much more so than the US Touch Diamond that I had...

Ok, so now the question is: Fuze or Eternity ... too bad i cant find a good comparison since the Eternity isnt announced officially anywhere
BloodiedWraith @ Nov 10th 2008 10:39PM
The reason why some stores weren't selling them is because the official street date is November 11th. So they should have them tomorrow.
3daysaside @ Nov 11th 2008 9:24AM
HTC Fuze now for sale on ATT.com....

Hmmm...comment lag. That's what happens when you don't activate your comments until 11 hours after you make a post...my bad.
