Italian HTC Touch HD gets unboxed, looks highly desirable
Not that you don't already have an awesome idea of what HTC's luscious Touch HD looks like from all the hands-on love it's been receiving overseas, but how's about an official unboxing in Italy to really put the cherry on top? Go on, Europeans -- enjoy your Touch HD. It's not like we want one in our part of the world anyway. In fact, don't even bother checking out the read link, there's nothing worth being completely envious of in there, anyway.

Must you really shove the HD in our faces? I could never get one because there's no US 3G on it...and that for me...makes me weep.

US TOUCH HD PRo for the WIN!!!! - D
Who? @ Nov 8th 2008 4:28PM
Damn. I like physical keyboards but that wouldn't stop me from getting this if it had US 3G. I'd get it in a hearbeat, pay the $175 early termination fee with ATT and pick it up right away. Anyone else sign the petition to Sprint to release it for us? It's here: http://www.petitiononline.com/CDMA_HD/petition-sign.html

I've got mine this afternoon: let's just say forget all that hype about the X1 - the Touch HD is the best WinMo-Device so far!

isnt it just a big screened Touch device...what makes it diiff from the Diamond?
Christian @ Nov 9th 2008 6:37AM
Its pure size. The large screen gives the whole device so much usability - although the diamond has the same TF3D Interface - the HD makes it easy to use. It's fast and sensitive enough to compete with that screen on the iPhone. The Diamond ist to slow and to small ... you wouldn't believe that there is WinMo under the hood.

Ohok, coo. I got you. Only thing that would make me iffy on getting it is the lack of a physical keyboard. I love my real keyboard. But hmmm....who knows. Maybe this could sway me. Only if someone could get a ROM going to have it access US 3G
