Vodafone's BlackBerry Storm gets unboxed, looks smashing
Vodafone's BlackBerry Storm is way ahead of Verizon's in terms of availability, so you North Americans are going to have to suffer through the agony that is knowing Voda subscribers are delighting in this handset well before you. And now, we've even got pictures to make the wait that much more excruciating. T3 has managed to get a RIM-issued BlackBerry Storm underneath the lens for a quick unboxing, and while nothing is out of the ordinary, we definitely got that warm, tingly feeling in our chest when watching a shiny new handset meet its owner for the first time. Flip through the gallery in the read link and see if you don't feel it, too.

Why does it have VZ Navigator on the "Vodafone" version?

It's also not gsm. What are you trying to pull here.

This can't be a vodafone model. In one of the pics you can see the signal shows 1xEV (for EVDO) which is what Verizon has. Plus the VZ Navigator icon...I mean come on. Maybe they thought no one would notice. That could be a reason they didn't open the back. Then you'd see there was no slot for a SIM card.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the 1XEV icon at the corner. I was confused because I thought T3 was a British magazine--anyone care to clarify?
But actually, the Verizon version would still have a SIM-card slot as it's supposed to be an international phone along the same lines as the 8830 World Edition.
