Sounds to me like we have a tentative date set for the new Storm launch? Don't see why they'd mention such a specific date in the middle of the month unless there was a device that this change would effect.

I'm hopeful anyway... My VX6000 is literally falling apart.

Blackberries on Verizon have always required a data plan (there is no pay-per-kb, with data block option). This change only affects non-Blackberry smartphones.
