LG, Microsoft re-up strategic partnership for mobile devices
Can't you just feel the love? LG's certainly not the number one purveyor of Windows Mobile wares around the world -- or the number two or three, for that matter -- but in an effort to keep some skin in the game, it has signed a fresh "strategic collaboration" with Microsoft (Steve Ballmer personally inked the dotted line in a trip to South Korea, it seems) that covers R&D, marketing, applications, and services. In reality, we think this isn't much more than a fancy way of saying that LG's continuing to license WinMo, which is a good thing now that we're all waiting for that Incite 'round here.

Good good. The more players in the WinMo game the better IMHO. Yes I like the iPhone and no I currently don't like Android. But I like WinMo a skosh more than iPhone so maybe LG can come up with some "special sauce" of their own.
Basically if LG could copy the Touch HD but add U.S. 3G I'd be fine with that. Oh and mabye an optical joystick/mouse.
