AT&T Fuze shows up again, this time courtesy of eBay
We can't help but wonder who these mysterious individuals are who get pre-release gear from carriers and manage -- somehow -- to sneak it onto ginormous, hugely visible auction sites without getting into any hot water. Not to say we're complaining; after all, how else would we have the opportunity to see the Fuze's retail box guide book (strangely devoid of AT&T branding) and get a second confirmation that there's going to be a big ol' AT&T logo slapped on the upper right corner of the face? Not to mention that this gives all us peasants the opportunity to scrape up and count the dimes that've collected underneath our couch, hoping beyond hope that we somehow have enough cash to place a bid. We never do, but we can dream.

I want one of these really badly, but I'm still hoping beyond all hope that the Xperia comes to ATT.

Yeah, you and me both. Just the point of having a type of customizable desktop is what I crave!
Ayle @ Oct 27th 2008 5:48PM
I don't think that's gonna hapen because ATT didn't carry any of the K or P series which are usually SE flagship phones...
Wirefly @ Oct 27th 2008 1:50PM
Agreed. It's pretty amazing how these phones keep popping up on eBay. Thanks for the pics.

That's not a retail box; it's a guide book.

Wrong. That's how thin it is!

Let's just hope we fall into a time warp and November 3rd come sooner than we all think!
HD @ Oct 27th 2008 2:35PM
Does this confirm that there will be no front-facing camera. That is a let down!
Brian @ Oct 27th 2008 2:44PM
how is it a let down?
no us carriers use front cameras since the carriers dont support video calling so whats the point? it saves money for everyone by them taking it out

I think it's a demo box. Some AT&T stores get early demo boxes so the employees can play with the item before it comes out, to enhance their familiarity. Notice the "Answer" cards - they look like sales training materials. I wonder if the store it was sent to even knows that it's missing?
Tyler @ Oct 27th 2008 6:46PM
Yeah it for sure got pulled down from ebay
Alucard @ Oct 27th 2008 10:03PM
It didnt get pulled down from Ebay.
It was SOLD this morning for 785 dollars.
engadget was slow to realize this phone was on ebay. It was ebay for the past week, and was just sold TODAY to someone.
hoibbes @ Oct 28th 2008 10:06AM
Yeah, one of the reps in my store got this about a week ago. HTC had a training and gave all of our data SME's one. It looks pretty cool, but because its new alot of features still aren't up and running.

That is nothing but a marketing package. I bet it came with some pens, sticky notes, and a few lanyards that say "HTC Fuze - ATT" all over them. I would also bet my bottom dollar that the phone pictured is the obligatory dummy phone that comes with each package. No?
