AT&T prices Samsung Eternity at $99.99 on contract?
We know with near certainty that the a867 Eternity will be one of those TouchWiz-enabled phones Samsung decided to chat up yesterday, and now, we think we have a price. We're hearing that AT&T has the a867 pegged at $99.99 on contract after mail-in rebate -- or so says an internal price sheet, anyway, with a valid window of November 2 to December 25. In other words, we're liking our chances of seeing this thing before the year's out for a hundie out of pocket. Feeling any heat up there, iPhone? Actually, do you ever feel anything at all?[Thanks, Kal]

I could have sworn you could order this device if you call up to business care. :)

I'd be afraid that the CS reps would be confusing the Epix and the Eternity.

I saw this phone at an AT&T store today. The store only had one in stock and none on display. The store quoted a price of $219.99 and then a $50 dollar rebate with two year contract.

Just picked up the phone today. It was suppose to have been $199 less $50 rebate for a $149 total, however, there was a glitch in the price (so says the AT&T Rep), and she only charged me $169. Woo Hoo! It's a Christmas gift for my daughter. The phone looks pretty cool and the touchscreen, although not as responsive as the iPhone, is very good. My only gripe is that is doesn't come with a USB cable.

I hope you don't plan to actually ACTIVATE that new phone on Christmas day, I work at an AT&T call center and they are making us work Christmas day. We figure it's so people can activate Christmas gifts. ~sigh!~ I just want to be home with my little girl.
