US 3G version of LG's KC910 pops up, speculation abounds
Based on what we've learned about LG's KC910 (or the Renoir, as it's affectionately known), we had all ideas it was being reserved for corners of the globe not named USA. But after taking one look at the specifications on the outfit's Global web portal, we're beginning to have second thoughts. Granted, this whole thing could just be a copy and paste blunder, but the 8-megapixel cellie sure shows up as having support for 850/900/1800/1900 GSM bands. Everything else looks par for the course, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't a wee bit excited about the possibilities here. Hold tight -- we'll be keeping an ear to the ground for more details.

Are you reasoning that just because it's Quadband GSM that there's automatically the possibility for American 3G? Did we have a brain-fart and forget the Touch HD, which has Quadband GSM but isn't coming in American 3G form?

EH! If its running WinMo (or less) Ill pass.
Although it sure does look purty (spec wise) we all know that whats on paper translates to real about as well as the onion translates into Chinese on Google. Now thats not to say it wont be fun to manhandle this cutie but its 8 days till my precious is in hand (read G1) and then the real fun begins.
Hang on to your handsets folks, theres a new penguin in town.

That is regular LG software, they used the same software on the LG Vu but that looks to be updated to have some sort of widgets on the desktop of the OS.
