That's really nothing to shake a stick at. It just looks like a modified SideKick... where's the really cool stuff? Is it streetview that this thing has to offer that's so amazing? I mean, the streetview thing is very cool, but... it just doesn't take my breath away. And really, proprietary headphones? Help me figure out what's so amazing about this phone, SOMEBODY PLEASE!!
The draw is the open operating system. If you buy your phone based on how sparkly it looks, then stick with the iPhone. If you want a phone you can actually do whatever you want with, get the G1.
Yep, fully programmable is the key here. And you need a good platform to work on. You will NEVER see a competent user on Android or WinMo (or even Symbian) running stock. Most of us are busy experimenting with different GUI and app to suit our preference and needs. e.g. Manila 2D (extracted from HTC Opal ROM) totally transforms WM6.1 into an iPhone killer

Why are people so quick to jump to iPhone? I have an n95-3 and wouldn't beat an iPhone with someone else's... [fill in the blank]
So it's wide open then, thanks wuzy for actually getting to my question. I'll have check it out.
