i really hate the way verizon manages to screw up every phone with their crappy UI.

Psst, It's Blackberrys UI. But if you are speaking about their other phones in general I'd have to agree with you. Hideous and unwieldy, everything about thier custom UIs say "BUY MORE SERVICES!".

Its obnoxious, It seems like it was created by a commitee of CEOs with no regard to everyday function.
