Anyone (well, anyone stateside) hankering for Nokia's latest and greatest flagship might need to look no further than their local Best Buy Mobile kiosk starting in October -- if the chain's current plan holds up, anyhow. Stock information indicates that unlocked
N96s will start flowing into locations on October 26 to be exact for a stiff $799.99. Cheap it ain't, but we suppose pricey stock is better than no stock at all, yeah?
[Thanks, Carl]

Hooray Best Buy. iPhones, Unlocked Touch Diamonds, and now N96's. Finally a big box store with real phones...

If you take a gander up at the "status" field, you'll see "Not Carried By Location". In stock dates are just meant to tell us when we can sell them, if we had them in. That'll probably just be when we start carrying them online. Right now the N82 is on plano, but we've never gotten one in. It was the same deal with the N81. Also, the performance code is "E". The closer that letter gets to W, the less likely it is that we'll get it in stock.
What would really be telling is the perf code of the N95.
