All things equal?

Xperia X1: Not an option. Painfully, agonizingly slow.
Touch HD: Perfect except for one thing: I need a keyboard with keys and buttons.

So... neither. The black HTC Dream seems to be the most balanced device so far (Affordable, Fast OS, Has keyboard, touchscreen, and trackball)

I guess you'll have to wait 3 months till photos of the HTC Touch Pro HD leak onto the internet.

The x1 is not slow, and it doesnt lag look at this video of the latest beta software
