Jeebus, Nokia, what's going on with your stupid flip phone over there? Not to harsh on you too much -- we love you, really we do -- but we're not exactly talking about an
N96-caliber device here. If an updated view of
Verizon's Mobile Email launches is accurate, it seems that the launch of Nokia's CDMA-equipped 7205 will now come no earlier than January of 2009, which would put it a full year after
the first spy shots leaked. We also see here that LG's
VX5500 and VX8360 are both tracking for late October, while the mysterious
VX9600 should be hitting in November if all goes well. From Motorola, the
VU30 has been pushed out to the end of this month and the MING-esque
ZN4 is looking like it's trying to break out in time for Halloween. Samsung is offering the
u810 global phone later on this month, while the u650 "Sway" sneaks in somewhere in October. Altogether a promising autumn for Big Red's dumbphone line -- but we've seen enough date slips at this point to be fooled into believing there won't be a few more.

why dont Verizon's PDA/Smartphone lists ever leak? their line-up now is pretty pitiful and i was hoping they would get something new in for the holidays (preferably the Treo 800w).

im kinda bummed that the Krave is going to be delayed. Which BTW is the new name for the ZN4. And its coming in two colors, Rose and Titanium.
I like that phone alot, if it was an actual smartphone like the Ming-look-a-like it is, I would buy it with no doubt.
Now if I was to buy it, id kinda be upset about it. But not too bad.

i love when this same list is leaked every month. I know where to find it in verizons systems and this is not a phone launch date list, its the list of when the mobile email program will be available on that model. The phone launch would be before the M.E. launch. The person who made that list doesnt even involve themselves with phone launch dates.. theres never been any on that list. idiots

wow, so I guess you missed the part on the post where he said it was a mobile email launch list. And the phrase at device launch followed by a date or a timeframe doesn't mean that's when the device launches. Strange!
