So a few shiny new pieces of hardware are starting to show up in AT&T stores; nothing to get terribly excited about, really, but the recently-released USBConnect Mercury is one of the purdiest data sticks we've seen in a while, and it's certainly a hell of a lot better looking than the
USBConnect 881 of old. We also have an
a237 here from Samsung (or a dummy of it, anyway) -- not bad for a dirt-cheap flip, we suppose -- and another unidentified Sammy with a hidden front display. Anyone want to hit us up with some knowledge on what that is?
[Thanks, Kal]
Update: We're hearing that the unidentified Samsung is the a137. Thanks, Jack and raapkid!

By hidden, you mean like the sony erricson flips? I hate those things. I like my external screens on all the time, so I can look at the clock without opening it up. Which is why I will never have a color external LCD. I have a a127 right now and despite having a monochrome external screen, it cuts off after 2 seconds. I hate that. My next phone will be either the a117 (yes, really), the a227, if it ever comes to the personal site, or the a237 pictured above. I was thinking about the a437, but I hate those flat glossy keys. The phone is huge too, but I like that. My a127 gets lost in my pocket 90% of the time.
