The
Invision is the big news for AT&T today, but there's an unassuming little Sony Ericsson flip that's
found its way into widespread availability on the network this week, too. The
W350 is a blast from the past for owners of phones like Ericsson's venerable T39 back in the day, offering the rarely-seen traditional flip form factor with a cover that conceals only the keypad -- the screen remains visible at all times. The money feature, though, has to be the cover's shiny music controls, which are offered in a contrasting color to spice things up a bit. You've got a 1.3-megapixel camera hanging out in there, too, and at $29.99 on contract after rebates (except for the Ice Blue version, which is inexplicably free), we can see it as a sleeper hit for anyone who'd projectile vomit at the sight of even one more free clamshell.
[Thanks, rapkiid]

So beautifully classic!

Why the hell does the AT&T site always screw the specs of the phones up?
Under the tap 'Wireless Technology', it says there's only EDGE but under 'Productivity' > 'Multitasking' it says that you can "use voice and data simultaneously."

i believe (it's been a while) i was able to do the same with my SE s710. it was edge only as well.

this phone feels sooooo cheap. I'd be suprised if it'd last anyone near a couple months.
Ice blue looks to be available online (hence the price, thanks AT&T for screwing your sales people over again!)
but it's a fun phone at least...

Well, because it IS a cheap phone. Literally.

It took Sony Ericsson this long to come up with a flip...pathetic !, where were these when the RAZR came out and was the talk of the town....too little, too late guys....

se had a flip a looooong time ago. in fact, my first cell was the t28z (google it) hence the “blast from the past for owners of phones like Ericsson’s venerable T39 back in the day”. did you not read the post?
also, technically, this is a flip. the razr is a clam shell. and when the razr came out se was making swivels.
