because alltell has overbloated it's employee base and created debt by bad business models, and Veriozn plans to fix that.
yeah, god...Verizon should just keep em all....let em hang out, steady collecting checks every week.....

You have no idea how lean Alltel is when it comes to workforce. So unless you work at Alltel and know how much "fat" there is within the organization, you have no idea what you are talking about.
