Why the F do people use acronyms for 'fuck', 'shit', 'bitch', etc? They're only F'ing words, yet the G-D acronym is known for what it is to all who read it. Other words don't use acronyms as a F'ing replacement, thus not insulting the G-D reader.

Bottom-line: Those who use them know that acronyms are no more nor no less 'polite', yet their use insults general intelligence.
