good read. thanks for posting this! I am currently in the same predicament of decideing whether or not to purchase and keep vz.

My current plan was to infact keep VZ, replace my LG Voyager w/ a cheap lg vx5200, and buy an iPhone 3g, which would give me 2 phones til my contract w/ vz expires.

It's good to know that I m not the only 1 who would go to the extent of having 2 phone lines haha..

I'm in CA so hopefully ATT service will hold up against VZ for me so I can drop one (thought i highly doubt that will happen).
