Here she is, the iPhone 3G, captured on video. We went through a number of the new features on the device and in the 2.0 software release for you. Apologies in advance if you're looking for side by side speed tests, we spiked the on-camera test due to coverage issues where we're at. Video of the unboxing and new feature walkthrough after the break. (We should also have a bit more video shortly, so check back soon.)

i'm not a hater, but i dont like the iphone. imho, touchscreens are great, as long as they have a normal keyboard for typing. i can only use touchscreens for basic navigation.

You are a hater of SHIFT keys, however.

I have to agree with you. The reason I sold my first generation iPhone is because it is so hard to type text messages. Not that I didn't try to get used to it, I used it for 3 months and still went back to my blackberry.

I happen to have several "SIM removal" tools on my desk right now

Still can't do stereo bluetooth (A2DP).

That's an Australian plug adapter, not an 'England' adapter. British plugs are massive, always-three-pronged, high-current-earth affairs.

ITS A FRIKKEN PHONE!!
Who cares!
Im a MAC boy and no, Im not jealous others have it and I dont. I dont like AT&T, I dont like paying TWICE as much for a 3G phone then I already have, and I DONT like phones I cant unlock.

Actually Tom, Ryan says in the video that it's a "New Zealand" adapter which is the same as an Australian one. He's in Auckland. Note the phone is on the "Voda NZ" network.
Relax Roger, no one's forcing you to buy one.
Sadly, I'll be away on a family vacation tomorrow so I'll have to wait until Monday for my iPhix. I guess family time does rate higher than those three days, but it will be hard. ;-)

Hey Ryan, if you have that whole Cat Empire album (or even just that track), give it a listen. It's damn good stuff.
