LG Chocolate 3 on Verizon: July 14 for $129

phoneArena is reporting that the latest incarnation of Verizon's Chocolate series, the clamshell Chocolate 3, will be available on July 14. It's said that the phone will run $129 on a two-year contract after the redemption of a $50 rebate -- not exactly cheap, but where else are you going to find a Verizon phone with an FM transmitter in baby blue? That's what we thought.

Everyone I knew had problems with their Chocolates, which was depressing because it was a cute little phone!

The Venus took over as the premium slider phone. The Decoy is also available but it is a cheaper phone.

I've had the Blue Mint Chocolate (8550) now for about a year and haven't had any problems with it at all. it's been a great phone and up until a few models ago, the only one that could have the music player going while you were texting. i'm defintely going to consider the Chocolate 3.

This looks like there tring to copy the motorola design like the W755 or so I mean people complain about how motorola is doing it over and over but now it seems like LG is tring to start in on it come on you can see that looks soo much like it

I just got rid of my Chocolate 1 for an enV2 about a month ago. This thing is nice, but kinda depressing since chocolate used to mean slider

Does nobody remember the Chocolate flip phone that already came out about 2 years ago? It was known as the VX8600 but everything about it screamed Chocolate.
