I got to handle a working 800w on Thursday of last week. I am generally not a Palm fan at all, but this is a pretty slick device. I stacked this device with a Centro that the palm rep had also brought... and the shape, and size were VERY similar. Its no I-Phone, or no BB Bold, but a HUGE improvement from the Treos of years past.
Ummmm... Micro USB was agreed to last year to become the industry standard... according to my count, Moto, LG, Sanyo and others have gotten on board, with Samsung to follow up later this year.
It's no Iphone? Thankfully so. I am able to open and edit attachments and resend them. I really wanted to get an Iphone, but as a journalist it just didn't do what I "needed" it to do. The 800w is not a toy.

Why "micro" usb, and not the industry standard "mini" usb?!
